  7. The Phonetic Engine 500 (PE500) Speech Recognition System is a PC-based system
  8. that fully implements Speech Systems' speaker-independent, large vocabulary,
  9. continuous speech recognition technology.  These features allow developers to
  10. create robust UNIX, DOS and Windows applications where the user can speak
  11. natural, full sentences without first training the system to recognize the
  12. speaker's voice.  The PE500 requires a host computer, which can be an IBM AT
  13. class machine or better, running UNIX, DOS or Windows.
